Animals are far more emotionally and psychically sensitive than we can ever imagine. All animal lovers will agree that they enrich our lives with kindness, love and support beyond that of any human.

As a well-versed Animal Communicator, I can tell you that more often than not, companion animals feel that they are responsible for maintaining the emotional balance in their household. They unconsciously take on all of the stresses of their people and environments. What happens to animals in prolonged states of stress is that the dis-eased energy manifests as physical illness. From lethargy to fractured bones, no animal injury is disconnected from his/her energetic experiences.

REIKI’S ROLE

Reiki is a gentle laying-on of the hands healing system. Reiki has been medically proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, lessen physical and emotional trauma and effectively treat chronic conditions such as physical pain or addiction.

“Rei” means “Spirit” and “Ki” means energy. Quite simply, a Reiki practitioner channels Divine Source energy to treat the animal. Contrary to what some may think, it is not the practitioner who is creating the healing energy, she is merely a vessel for the life force energy to flow through.

Reiki is loved by animals because it is non-invasive, soothing and loving energy that they may be missing or depleted of in their day to day lives.

Reiki is an excellent complement to Western Medicine. It has been medically and experientially proven to reduce the pain of post-traumatic surgery wounds, chemotherapy, sprained or broken bones.

Reiki energy aids with newly adopted animals to ease them into the home. Reiki helps with hyperactivity, separation anxiety and depression.

With consistent treatment, the Animal Reiki practitioner may also be able to “see” any organ function and immune system imbalances and treat them before they become chronic.

Modern day Reiki was founded in the late 1800’s and is still considered a highly effective healing modality. Whether you are sensitive to energy or not, your animal most definitely is. Reiki heals.
